Yahweh Place provides Christian volunteer opportunities, community programs, events, and activities designed to support personal growth, faith development, skill-building, and community engagement for kids, youth, and adults. Volunteer participation is subject to availability, application requirements, role suitability, and adherence to volunteer guidelines and community standards.
Respect & Professionalism
Volunteers are expected to treat all participants, staff, families, and community members with kindness, respect, and professionalism at all times.
Attendance & Communication
Volunteers should arrive on time, communicate any absence or schedule changes in advance, and remain reliable in their commitments whenever possible.
Christ-Centered Conduct
As a Christian community organization, volunteers are encouraged to demonstrate positive attitudes, integrity, compassion, and respectful behavior aligned with the values and mission of Yahweh Place.
Appropriate Communication
Volunteers should communicate respectfully in person, online, and through social media while representing Yahweh Place programs and activities.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Personal information shared by participants, families, staff, or volunteers should be respected and kept confidential whenever appropriate.
Teamwork & Cooperation
Volunteers are encouraged to work collaboratively, follow instructions, and contribute positively to the team and community environment.
Inappropriate Behavior
Harassment, discrimination, bullying, disruptive behavior, inappropriate language, or misconduct will not be tolerated during volunteer activities or programs.
Media & Photography
Photos or media content taken during volunteer activities may be used for community or promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteer roles and responsibilities may vary depending on the activity, event, or program needs. Volunteers are expected to complete assigned tasks responsibly and respectfully.
Screening & Safety
Certain volunteer roles may require additional screening, references, a resume, or a Vulnerable Sector Check depending on the nature of the role and level of interaction with children, youth, or vulnerable individuals.
Agreement
By registering for or participating in any Yahweh Place volunteer program, activity, or community service, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to follow the Volunteer Guidelines.
